Operation Smile Donates Thousands of Masks and Gloves to Local Hospital Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

As hospitals across the country prepare for an increase in coronavirus cases Operation Smile is grounded in its mission to help safeguard the health and well-being of our local community and our global community.

Today, Operation Smile donated 1,800 facemasks and 4,500 gloves to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital after the CEO reached out requesting support.

“We are grateful as Operation Smile is a neighbor who stepped up to help us help the community. These donated supplies are much needed as we deal with this global health pandemic,” said Paul Gaden, CEO of Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.

The donated supplies to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital were originally gifted to Operation Smile by two of its corporate partners Ansell (donor of gloves) and Henry Schein (donor of masks). Both companies are supportive of their donated items to Operation Smile being passed along to a local hospital to help prepare and protect medical professionals.
