While many players were preparing for their next games, Steve Tisch, co-owner of the National Football League team the New York Giants, took a timeout from first downs and field goals to join a team of people transforming the lives of children living in Vietnam.

While Super Bowl LIV is less than a week away, all 32 football teams have been hard at work making an impact in communities and around the world during this year's Huddle for 100 campaign. Challenged to make a difference in the lives of others, teams like the New York Giants celebrated the NFL’s 100th season by scoring big through volunteering and advocacy.

“For the New York Giants, I can’t think of a better project than Operation Smile,” Steve said in Vietnam before the start of a medical mission held in Hanoi.

So far, volunteers involved in Huddle for 100 have accumulated more than 315 million volunteer minutes.

After traveling to Hanoi, Vietnam, Steve and all five of his children, Hilary, Will, Holden, Elizabeth, Zachary, contributed to Huddle for 100 by partaking in Operation Smile's life-changing work.

“Operation Smile is about families. It’s really a wonderful, breathtaking moment,” Steve said. “I’m so thrilled that my kids and I can be part of this unbelievable mission.”
