Heidi Bergeron

Director of Grants and Foundations

Contact Heidi

Heidi serves as the director of grants and foundations for Operation Smile, introducing the work of Operation Smile to new foundation partners and strengthening mission-driven foundation relationships. With 20 years of experience in building collaborative grant partnerships, she previously served on the leadership team of Boys Hope Girls Hope International (now Hope Ignites) and supported networkwide advancement and program leaders in 14 U.S. cities, Mexico and Guatemala. Before joining Operation Smile, she served as a grants and development consultant for local and national nonprofits and vice president of a leadership development firm. Heidi holds a B.A. from Saint Louis University and a master’s degree in religion, ethics and politics from Harvard University. She resides in New Orleans with her family.
