With over 15 years of experience across healthcare advocacy and higher education, he brings a strategic, collaborative approach to philanthropy—one that centers people, purpose, and possibility.
Before joining Operation Smile, he built his career at NMDP (formerly Be The Match), the University of Minnesota Foundation, Columbia University, Luther Seminary, and St. Olaf College. In each role, he worked closely with donors to co-create bold, aspirational visions that connected their passions with transformative opportunities, driving philanthropic growth that propelled mission impact.
Danny holds a B.A. from Luther College. Originally from the Midwest, he lives in Minnesota with his family. Outside of work he enjoys creating memories with his family at the cabin, traveling the world, strumming the guitar, and cheering on his beloved Minnesota United FC.
