From June 19 through 21, Operation Smile will conduct a local medical mission in Witbank, Mpumalanga, South Africa. 

Since 2006, Operation Smile has conducted medical programs in seven cities throughout South Africa. Operation Smile South Africa, located in Cape Town, provides volunteer support, raises funds and builds awareness about cleft conditions worldwide. 

Operation Smile's global volunteer network includes over 100 medical professionals from South Africa who donate their time in South Africa, as well as across the world. Over the past 12 years, Operation Smile has provided free reconstructive surgery to over 270 patients in South Africa, including World Care patients with more complicated facial deformities.
