Marcia Crawley
Southeast Director of Development
Marcia Crawley serves as the director of development in the southeast region. With more than 20 years of experience in a variety of fields, including journalism, communications and advancement, she has led and supported fundraising operations in higher education and arts and culture.
In her most recent roles at New College of Florida, Crawley secured resources for the college then went on to spearhead strategic initiatives as an assistant vice president under two administrations. Crawley relied on her early experiences as a reporter in television news and communications director in local government to embark upon a fundraising career. She completed building campaigns for regional museums in Florida and Michigan, managed fundraisers in the eastern U.S. during a capital campaign for Michigan State University and served as a consultant to various charitable institutions.
Crawley and her husband live in St. Petersburg, Florida, where they raised three young adults. She enjoys fishing and boating along Florida’s west coast, volunteering in her community and spending time with her family.
