Hollywood united for the weekend in Park City to give smiles and create brighter futures for children worldwide at Operation Smile’s 8th Annual Celebrity Ski and Smile Challenge presented by Poly, The St. Regis Deer Valley and Deer Valley Resort.

NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama joined event chair and Head of Amazon Studios Jennifer Salke, alongside Brooke Burke, Kate Walsh, Taylor Kinney and Mike Doyle. The Hollywood stars took to the slopes  at Deer Valley Resort for some fierce competition. Kate Walsh raced alongside pal Mike Doyle while Taylor Kinney and David Charvet came out medal winners once again.

Post-race, Golden Globe winner and newlyweds Darren Criss and Mia Swier joined co-chair Erica Zohar at Skullcandy’s Headquarters for an afternoon luncheon sponsored by Ann and McQuoid of Parallel Napa Valley and which also featured an “accessory bar” by Charming Charlie.

Later in the evening, guests gathered at the St. Regis Deer Valley for a private dinner and smile auction hosted by TV Personality, Jay Manuel. Smile Ambassadors Mark Burnett and Roma Downey kicked off the auction with a generous donation, followed by a bidding war over a celebrity chef dinner led by Andrew Zimmern, host of Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods.

Event chairs Bert and Jennifer Salke along with their children Kate, Georgia and Henry awarded Taylor Kinney, Mike Doyle and David Charvet their race medals. Henry Salke, the 19-year-old son of Jennifer Salke has been championing fundraising efforts to help others who are born with his same cleft condition and promoting the need for safe surgery in resource-poor environments.

Poly Chief Marketing Officer Amy Barzdukas and Operation Smile Co-founders Dr. Bill and Kathy Magee thanked friends, family and Operation Smile supporters for their unwavering dedication to the international medical programs, and Poly pledged to match the first $100,000 in contributions during the auction. Darren Criss surprised attendees with a heartfelt performance and NBC’s The Voice standout Ryan Innes closed the night with a soulful performance of Hallelujah.

Operation Smile raised more than $600,000 throughout the weekend to support medical mission worldwide.
