Resuming Surgery and Patient Care

In March, we made the very difficult decision to postpone the majority of our medical missions leaving almost 10,000 patients waiting for surgery. Around the world, our volunteers and staff are reaching out to as many patients and their families as they possibly can. We’re providing nutritional assistance, hygiene kits and virtual health services to support people and their health needs so they can thrive. We're letting them know that once it's safe to do so, we'll be there for their cleft care needs as we were before the pandemic. In places like Vietnam and Italy, alongside our hospital partners and ministries of health, we’re resuming surgeries with the safety of our patients, volunteers and staff as the top priority
