Future Leaders

Our future is in the hands and hearts of the young. That’s why we at Operation Smile work hard to provide educational and leadership development opportunities. It’s our hope that tomorrow’s leaders will have an even greater impact on the children of the world.

• Thousands of students from more than 700 clubs worldwide work as Operation Smile volunteers to raise funds — netting approximately $1 million per year.

• Hundreds of young people have participated in medical missions, which impart a firsthand appreciation for our work in the field and forges a lifelong commitment to our cause.

• Our annual International Student Leadership Conference follows the same philosophy of our international missions and global training programs: to build leadership skills, share experiences and increase education on the importance of “giving back.”

• We continue to strengthen our online community and build future leaders in our new online youth community, OS Central.

Operation Smile Canada Foundation is a registered corporation in Canada and has applied for Charitable Registration with the Canada Revenue Agency as of July, 2011. Pending approval of charitable registration, all donations received during the 2012 calendar year will be tax deductible and provided with a receipt in January of 2013.
