Join Our Online Student Community - OS Central

Operation Smile’s online youth community, OS Central (www.oscentral.org) was developed and launched for young activist, of all ages, who want to help make a difference in the lives of children suffering from facial deformities.

In OS Central, students can connect with friends and other students from around the world who are committed to the same cause. Through sharing ideas on blogs and starting discussions on topics such as fundraising, service projects, awareness activities, starting or leading a club or increasing club membership, students are a resource for one another to help raise awareness for the mission of Operation Smile - and ultimately change children’s lives.

OS Central is a great resource for students involved with Operation Smile! Here are some great ways for students to use it:

• Interact with students around the world.
• Watch student videos about ways to impact children's lives.
• Discuss questions about how you, as one person, can make a difference in the world.
• Write a blog about your Operation Smile achievements.
• Seek leadership opportunities.
• Find creative fundraising ideas.
• Travel to motivational conferences.
• Receive support from Student Programs staff.
• Create a group to enhance club communication.

Student Programs expects OS Central to become a primary platform for students from kindergarten to university, to share information, empower youth to lead, and motivate a new generation of involvement and service.
