Educational Exchanges and University Partnerships
Operation Smile offers educational exchange programs to in-country medical professionals through partnerships with leading academic institutions. In order to offer training in new and advanced techniques, Operation Smile pairs in-country teams of physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals with faculty from prestigious universities across the globe. These Operation Smile sponsored opportunities include the Visiting Professor and Visiting Scholar programs, short and long term observerships and clinical training in a supervised environment. Programs can take place in the University partner’s facility, in the participant’s home country or in both.
