About Us
Founded in 1997 in Iowa City, IA. Several Iowa medical volunteers have participated in missions around the world. The Iowa Chapter is currently coordinated by Connie Chiles in Ottumwa, IA. The most recent accomplishment of the Iowa Chapter was to establish a student Operation Smile Chapter at the Ottumwa High School. They are eagerly diving into volunteerism and community service and raising Operation Smile awareness within the school and community.
