Fore the Kids

Operation Smile invites you to attend Fore the Kids, a golf tournament to change the lives of children, on Friday, June 4, 2010. Join us for an afternoon of golf at the Bryan Park Championship Course, and help us raise funds and awareness to make a difference in the lives of thousands of children suffering from facial deformities around the world.

Each year, more than 200,000 children are born with a cleft lip and/or cleft palate, and are often unable to eat, speak, socialize or smile. With the help of generous donations, Operation Smile provides free surgeries to children around the world, healing their smiles and bringing hope for a better future.

You can help by registering for the golf tournament as a participating sponsor or as a non-participating sponsor.

Tournament Information:

Attire:

• Bryan Park is a soft spike facility only.
• Collared shirts and appropriate slacks or shorts must be worn on the course.
• All players must have their own set of clubs. Rentals are available.

Driving Range:

• The driving range is available.

Foursome:

• You will be registered in a foursome if in a sponsorship. If you register as an individual player, you may furnish us with teammates if they are already registered, or we will assign you a team.

Scoring:

• Each foursome will compete in a scramble format (each team selects the best shot from the tee throughout the last putt). There will be first, second and third place prizes for the gross team scores. Each team will be limited to three mulligans (purchase one for $10 or three for $25).

Events:

• All events will be played rain or shine unless severe conditions prevail and/or the course is closed by Bryan Park Management. In either case, the event will be rescheduled and fees will be credited towards the next event. Note: Completion of nine holes constitutes completed event.
