The life-changing surgeries we provide to children worldwide could not happen without the thousands of donors who generously contribute their hard-earned resources and time to our cause. We do not sell your information

Since 1982, donors and volunteers have trusted Operation Smile with their personal information. We do not sell or rent our list of donors and volunteers. From time to time, we may exchange our list with select nonprofit groups.  Operation Smile is committed to properly managing the care of your information. This assurance is the foundation of our Donor First Commitment to you.

You can have confidence knowing that we have taken the important steps necessary to safeguard your privacy and mailing preferences.

Updating your information

We appreciate your donations to our important mission. We strive for accurate, respectful and relevant communications with our donors.  We occasionally exchange donor lists with select nonprofit groups. If you would like to correct or update your personal information, modify your mailing preferences, or if you do not wish to participate in our list exchange activities, please contact our Donor Relations Team at 888-677-6453, Monday - Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. EST, Sunday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST, please contact us or alert us via postal mail at our headquarters.

Operation Smile is a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax deductible in accordance with IRS rules and regulations.

Operation Smile Canada Foundation is a registered corporation in Canada and has applied for Charitable Registration with the Canada Revenue Agency as of July, 2011. Pending approval of charitable registration, all donations received during the 2012 calendar year will be tax deductible and provided with a receipt in January of 2013.
